About ten years in HR Management and Administration. Progressively responsible positions. Public and private including national and International organizations. UNICEF, UNESCO, ActionAid, Betterstories Limited, Nari Maitree. Mr. Zakaria has gathered experience to work with diverse communities both national and international. He visited different countries in Asia and Europe on his official trip and gained knowledge on different issues related to contemporary HR. Some of the Key area of expertises of Mr Zakaria are: Contemporary HR and Admin Policy and Procedures, Performance Management and Appraisal System, Personnel Planning and Recruiting, Training and Developing Employees, Benefits and Services, Disciplinary Measures and Grievance Handling, Bangladesh Labor Laws and Web Based Data Management System. Education: MBA, Major: HR, Dhaka University, MCom in Management.
Mr. Reaz has more than 15 years of professional experience of working for international development agency, multilateral donor, corporate business, consulting house, NGO, research organization, educational institute and government establishment. The Asian Development Bank, BIDS, BIISS, BRAC, CIDA, CARE, Ministry of Education, FAO, Sogreah-Sir William Halcrow & Partners Ltd., the UNDP and the World Bank are among the organizations he worked for.
He taught at the Department of Management, Jagannath University, and worked as social researcher and project management specialist for Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies. Educated in Business Management (Dhaka University) and Development Studies (Institute of Social Studies) M. Reaz Uddin started his career in the corporate sector as a marketing management professional. Later he moved to research and teaching on development and management issues. He taught in undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
Theories and principles of Management, Development Economics, Managerial Economics, Marketing, Financial and Personnel Management were among the courses taught at Jagannath University. With diversified experience he worked in areas including program design and management, fund raising, monitoring and evaluation, labor law and industrial work environment, food security etc. He conducted research and provided consultancy to national and international organizations like BRAC, the Canadian International Development Agency, UNDP and the World Bank. Mr. Reaz received training on development and corporate management issues from MDF Training and Consultancy, Ede-Waganigen, The Royal Tropical Institute, Amsterdam, Infinite, Bangalore, The Asiatic Society of Bangladesh,Dhaka. Well exposed to national and international diversity he travelled to most parts of Bangladesh and to Belgium, Cambodia, France, Germany, India, Italy, Nepal, the Netherlands, Spain, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Thailand and the UK.
